There is not a lot to report for Worthing this time as our July trip to Buckingham Palace managed to get into the last edition of Lioness and we have not had many outings since.

We did take a very comfortable coach trip to the Chelsea Pensioners on yet another beautiful sunny day (we do pick them). This is always a good day out, being shown around by one of the in-pensioners, but for us it was even better meeting up with Madge and some of the Lady in- pensioners.

We held our Christmas lunch after our usual meeting on 30th November. Sue Westlake joined us and we presented her with a special bottle of wine which we had found and cannot find again.

I do not have very many photographs from the dinner which is a shame as the table was laid beautifully, with sweet boxes and presents (including WRAC Association diaries for all of us!) added by some of our ladies. We have a room to ourselves which makes the meal even better.

On 10th December we had a couple of stalls at the Church Hall where we usually meet and made up some of the money we had spent on the dinner. We then faced long weeks before we meet again at the end of January. How will we survive?
