On Saturday 24th April our little band of ATS/WRAC celebrated 21 years of the formation of the branch. Two of the founding members - Mrs Agnes Castle (Chair of Stirling Branch) and Lady Martha Bruce (a Life Vice President of the WRAC Association) were in attendance at our celebration. The branch was also honoured with the company of Lt Col Jo Young, Chairman of the Scottish Area. The celebration began with coffee in the conservatory before moving into the dining room for a delicious four course meal. Lady Martha said Grace and we all tucked in. The Loyal Toast was given at the end of the meal by our youngest member, Lynn Crickmore. To make the celebration special we had a cake.

Lady Martha took a piece of our cake to Her Majesty the Queen in honour of the celebration and Her Majesty's birthday. The branch has received a letter from Buckingham Palace sending warm good wishes to all who were present at the event. The members all enjoyed their day and, no doubt, will be chatting about it at the monthly meetings for the next few months.
