We are still meeting at the White Lion Hotel, Bury on the second Tuesday of the month at 1.30p.m. Joan, the landlady, always makes us welcome and caters for us beautifully whether it is a buffet or our Christmas celebrations.

The Bury Branch has been a little bit on the quiet side over the last few months, but November has blown in on a rush. On the 8th of November our Branch held its monthly meeting and it was well attended not only by Bury Branch but other Branches as well.

We were all looking forward to the Christmas lunch which was held at the White Lyon in Bury on the 14th December. We were as always well looked after by the staff and the food was excellent. This year Rochdale and Chester Branches joined us for this wonderful feast.

Some members meet for an informal evening get together on the third Wednesday of the month at the Toby Carvery, Burnley Lane, Chadderton, OL1 2QS. All WRAC/ATS welcome, for futher information contact Susan on 07813 313508 or Kath on 07912 617694.
