The north wind doth blow and it certainly did here in Blackpool but we were lucky compared to the people whose homes were flooded in other parts of the country. Eight members of our branch attended the North West Area Reunion at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool on Saturday 19 September. It was a very enjoyable day with an excellent buffet lunch and live entertainment all afternoon: old friendships were renewed and new ones made. Six of our members attended a Christmas luncheon party at the Marriot Hotel, Preston by courtesy of the Not Forgotten Association and we enjoyed it very much. Christmas has come and gone by the time you read this so a Happy New Year to all Association members and HQ staff.
