Welcome from our Vice-President

Welcome to The WRAC Association website. Whether you are looking for new connections and comradeship or old friends and photos we hope you will find something to amuse, inform and entertain amongst these pages.

Perhaps you served for less than a year, or possibly more than a decade. Maybe you are still serving to this day. Whatever your experience, the WRAC Association provides support and fellowship to our members. From events and activities across the UK, to our benevolent fund for servicewomen who joined prior to 1992 and the Buddy Buddy scheme encompassing serving personnel and veterans, we are working to ensure that women who served remain connected, supported and valued.

With special events large and small planned throughout the year, from our triennial Grand Reunion and services at the National Memorial Arboretum, to local and regional get-togethers, we strive to maintain contact and connections between the women who share the unique experiences of the ATS and WRAC. We are working alongside strategic partners to ensure that female veterans are prioritised in areas of health and social care, and will continue to make certain that our members’ voices are heard in the national arena. As your new Vice-President, it is my priority to deliver an association which meets the needs of all our members and we will strive to improve our delivery and strengthen our impact.

If you’re not already a member or donor, please consider supporting us and joining our thriving association which includes over 3000 members within 52 branches across the UK and overseas.  Find out more about the benefits of being a member here.
